Goo left on skin and patches

"Recently the last few patches I have used were gooey after 8 hours of leaving them on. That makes me unsure that the product has absorbed and is working. I use a lot of skin treatments and have been a big Peace Out fan for awhile. I did reach out to their support and they said it's leftover ingredients but they did not say whether the patch is still effective if the goo exists or not."
