Early Stage Acne Dot FAQ

Do you ever get that feeling like you know you’re about to get a pimple? Well, Our newest Acne Dot, the Early Stage Acne Dot is designed to tackle those early-stage breakouts effectively, yet still gentle on your skin. Using 430 self-dissolving microneedles, the Early Stage Acne Dot delivers 2% Salicylic Acid and other acne-fighting ingredients to attack blemishes below the surface and help minimize your bumps before they appear!

You may have questions like how they work, do the microneedles, or how often should you use an Early Stage Acne Dot. We’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions about our pre-breakout blemish-buster!

Q: What are Early Stage Acne Dots?

A: Peace Out’s Early Stage Acne Dot is our solution to early-stage breakouts. This pimple patch covers and protects your blemish with Hydrocolloid Polymer technology and uses 430 self-dissolving microneedles to deliver 2% Salicylic Acid & other acne-fighting ingredients like niacinamide (an anti-inflammatory powerhouse) and Succinic Acid (to reduce shine and excess oil while unblocking pores) to help minimize your bumps before they appear!

Q: How/when do I use Early Stage Acne Dots?

A: This patch is meant to be used when you feel a pimple coming on or can see a blemish starting to appear. You don’t want to use this on a fully-formed whitehead (we have our Acne Healing Dots for that 😉).

As always, start with freshly cleansed, dry skin. Peel the two (2) white protective liners to expose the full dot. Then gently press the dot (textured side down) onto your bump and hold for 20 seconds.

Leave it on for at least 6 hours and repeat every 2-3 days as needed.

Q: How often should I use Early Stage Acne Dots/ Can I use more than one patch in a day?

A: We recommend leaving the dot on for at least 6 hours to allow for the acne-fighting ingredients (2% Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, and Succinic Acid) to be absorbed.

Since this is using a higher concentration of Salicylic Acid, you should only use a dot a blemish every 2-3 days, or you could irritate your skin further.

You can use multiple dots on multiple blemishes, but be sure to give your skin a break when treating the same blemish!

Q: What should I expect after using an Early Stage Acne Dot?

A: While results may vary, you can expect a reduced pimple size, less redness, and calmer skin after one use. We even ran a 6-hour consumer study to see how well our little dot works:

  • 100% of participants agreed the Early Stage Acne Dot made their early-stage acne disappear within 72 hours.
  • 97% of participants agreed this product visibly reduces pimple size, reduces redness, and calms the skin after just one use.

Q: Do the Microneedles hurt?

A: Oh gosh, no! While the word “needle” can be scary - this isn’t like getting a vaccination or a Botox treatment. You’ll feel a slight prickle sensation as you apply the dot. These microneedles help get under the skin to deliver the acne-fighting ingredients.
