With the recent launch of Acne Day Dot, you may be wondering how this unique new pimple patch fits into your skincare routine. Well, we’re here to help explain the differences between Acne Day Dot and the original Acne Dot.
ACNE DAY DOT
Looking for a daytime acne healing solution? Look no further. Acne Day Dot is 61% thinner than our original Acne Dots. It’s ultra-sheer and blends seamlessly with skin – under makeup or on a bare face. It features a unique top layer that’s designed to adhere makeup, offering virtually undetectable all-day wear.
ORIGINAL ACNE DOT
Got a stubborn breakout? Acne Dots are your heavy hitter! Featuring a thicker hydrocolloid material, they offer more absorption, making them perfect for overnight wear. Simply apply your Acne Dot to clean, dry skin and carefully apply the rest of your skincare around it, then head to bed and say peace out to that pimple!
WHAT’S THE SAME?
Both Acne Dots and Day Dots are made of the same clean Hydrocolloid Polymer Technology (i.e. the absorbent material), plus Encapsulated Salicylic Acid, Retinol, and Aloe Vera Leaf Extract. They work by extracting oil and impurities, creating a barrier against external elements (helping you resist the urge to pop!), all while delivering anti-acne ingredients to help visibly reduce pimples in 6 hours or less.*
HOW TO USE ACNE DOTS & DAY DOTS
Reach for Day Dots anytime you’ll be wearing makeup or simply want to conceal a pimple while you heal it. When you’re ready to catch some zzz’s, look no further than our original Acne Dots. Both pimple patches work in harmony with one another–that’s why we created Acne Day & Night Duo (aka your day-to-night healing solution!). After you’ve removed your Day Dot and cleansed your face, follow with an Acne Dot and let the healing continue.
