We know winning isn’t everything, but we thought it was time to toot our own horn and celebrate receiving a major head nod by one of our favorite publishers for two of our products: Peace Out Acne and Peace Out Pores. It was just in July 2017 that we launched as a company, so being recognized the very next year is truly a pinch-me moment for us.
You may be wondering why this award in particular is such a big deal? Well it’s Teen Vogue guys - they are LEGENDARY and collaborated with some of the most noteworthy skincare experts to share their favorite products. This year’s panel included celebrity facialist Ildi Pekar, dermatologist Dr. Joshua Zeichner, influencer and vlogger Cassandra Bankson, and Allure’s digital deputy editor, Sam Escobar. The panelists scoured ingredient lists, skin types and called on their years of experience to identify products that are both safe for your skin and target all types of acne (i.e. cystic, hormonal, etc.).
This means so much to us because our CEO and Founder Enrico created Peace Out Skincare on the premise of being safe for all skin types; all he wanted were solutions for his extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin.
